About This Site

This site is about the dodgy reports, assessments and decisions made by the AFLMatch Review Panel (MRP) and the AFL Tribunal.  And the odd Umpire (but aren’t they all).

I reckon the assessments and decisions made by the AFL MRP and Tribunal have been very inconsistent.  Some players have had heavy suspensions applied in the pre-season, while other players have been reported for similar incidents later in the year and have received far lesser penalties, or got off altogether.

This is wrong.  Justice hasn’t been done.  My footy club is being shafted – is yours?.  Have a look at the incidents in questionand try argue that the MRP and  Tribunal are being fair and just.

A site like this is well overdue. Obviously there is something wrong with the way the AFL are carrying out their responsibilities. The level of inconsistency has clearly reached a point where it should undergo close and official scrutiny. This website should only be a first step toward the investigation of the AFL and how it goes about business.

I’ve seriously considered setting up a site like this because of my frustration with the glaringly obvious inconsistencies of the tribunal and MRP. The AFL have admitted that certain players get the benefit of preferential treatment on the field – it can only be assumed that the same preferential treatment occurs off-field at the tribunal. Well done and keep up the good work.
